Finally a collection of mostly Italian headgear as it may have probably never been there to this extent and in this quality. As this collection was commenced by its founder still during the Second World War, cherished in honor by his heirs also in the second generation and carefully preserved for more than 20 years, we are particularly pleased to be able to present this collection now to the public. From the caps of the Papal guards by the extremely rare, magnificent helmets of Italian generals to fantastically conserved headgear of the Moschettieri del Duce, this collection shows that Italian design is also here perfectly capable of setting accents, and to bring fresh wind even in the best collection of Prussian spiked helmets, German caps and Austrian helmets.
